Judiciary

  • Supreme Court August recess: 1 Aug – 15 Sept 2026; a duty judge remains available for urgent matters.
  • Hon. Stephen Jalang’o appointed Adjudicator at Milimani Small Claims Court for 12 months.

Security

  • Parts of Marsabit County (13 “Hillo” areas) declared security disturbed and dangerous for 30 days from 23 June; the Inspector-General ordered residents to surrender all arms.

Public participation invited

  • Draft Crops (Pyrethrum) Regulations, 2026 — comments within 14 days.
