– New National Cybersecurity Agency stood up.— the State Corporations (National Cybersecurity Agency) Order, 2026 — is published and the President immediately appointed Dr. Martin Koyabe as Non-Executive Chairperson of its Board for three years
– The Technopolis Act, 2026 (No. 13 of 2026) is published as an Act . The first board appointment under it followed the same day — Yvonne Ogwang to the Technopolis Development Authority Board

Siaya County gazetted a near-complete new County Executive Committee under Governor Orengo, with Erick Abungu Odawa also named acting CEC for Finance (revoking George Nying’iro’s appointment).
Land — compulsory acquisition (National Land Commission)
Several projects, with inquiries mostly set for 16 September 2026:
• Ngong–Kiserian–Isinya and Kajiado–Imaroro Roads — addendum of 6 parcels in Ngong; inquiry at Upper Matasia Chief’s Office.
• Barpello–Tot–Sigor–Marich Pass (B17) Road (124 km, three lots) across Baringo, Elgeyo Marakwet and West Pokot — 35+ parcels in the Tuturung adjudication area, plus 42.93 ha of unregistered community land for the proposed Chesegon Bypass.
• Thika Water and Sanitation Project (Kiambu) — ~37.6 ha from Transebel Ltd and Meteor Properties.
• Wastewater treatment plant on Del Monte land, Murang’a — 21.7 ha from Del Monte Kenya Ltd (parcel corrected to L.R. 12158/3).
• Solar farm and water treatment works, Wote, Makueni — 0.80 ha, parcel number corrected.

Enforcement and regulatory
Asset forfeitures to the government under the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act: six vehicles (Toyota Fielder, Rumion, Prado, Land Cruiser pick-up, Mitsubishi Fuso, Toyota station wagon) forfeited in ARA v. Cecilia Nyathira Wanjiru & others; and a Toyota Mark X registered to Car House Limited in ARA v. Vincent Odhiambo Nyadero. Insolvency: Surechill Africa Ltd (under administration) — petition to appoint a liquidator, mention 17 September 2026; a creditor’s bankruptcy petition against Francis Mungai Ichahuria in Mombasa over a KSh 3.71m debt; and the Mukenia Farmers Co-operative liquidation extended six months.

Nairobi City County Finance Act, 2026 published; Trans Nzoia County Assembly’s FY2026/27 exchequer disbursement schedule totalling KSh 782.7m; Kericho intends to prepare a municipality local physical and land use development plan (comments closed 27 August); part development plans completed in Wajir, Isiolo and Samburu; a Nyamira County Assembly Service Board vice-chair swap; a new Level 2 dispensary gazetted in Kajiado.
