The Judicial Service Commission has announced the promotion of the following judicial officers, effective from 11th and 15th September 2025.
Promotions to Chief Magistrate (Effective from 11th September 2025):
- Hon. Kimilu Esther Kalunde has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Rotich Paul Kipkosgei has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Macharia James Muriuki has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Wambilyanga Joane Namrome has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Kituku Justus Mulei has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Ireri Benson Nyaga has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Ooko Peter Oduor has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Magori Jared Ogoti has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
- Hon. Kayila Dolphina Aiteno Alego has been promoted to Chief Magistrate.
Promotions to Senior Principal Magistrate (Effective from 15th September 2025):
- Hon. Masiga James Jesse has been promoted to Senior Principal Magistrate.
- Hon. Lewa Lillian Tsuma has been promoted to Senior Principal Magistrate.
