Dr Abbas Gullet was appointed by President William Samoei Ruto as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenyatta National Hospital Board for a three-year term, replacing Dr Samier Muravvej, under the State Corporations Act and the Kenyatta National Hospital Board Order.
Dr Samier Muravvej was appointed by the President as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council for three years, effective 5 August 2025.
Paul Ndungu Kariuki was appointed by the President as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya National Public Health Institute for a three-year term, replacing David Ndegwa Nyokabi.

Professor Chacha Nyaigotti Chacha was appointed as Chairperson of the University of Nairobi Council, Professor James K Sang as Chairperson of the Egerton University Council, and Professor Josephat Kipkoech Yego as Chairperson of the Koitaleel Samoei University College Council. Professor Isaac Meroka Mbeche was reappointed as Chairperson of the Taita Taveta University Council, Dr Idle Omar Farah was reappointed as Chairperson of the Technical University of Kenya Council, and Professor John O Shiundu was appointed as Chairperson of the Bomet University College Council, amongst others.
Erick Rutto was reappointed as Chairperson of the Water Sector Trust Fund Board of Trustees alongside Josephine Erigae, Lucas Chepkitony, Maryan Ubah Mohamed, Andrew Muiya Mbithi, and Engineer Joseph Kimani Ngacha by the Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation for a three-year term.
The Cabinet Secretary for Water, Sanitation and Irrigation also made reappointments to the Boards of Northern Water Works, Tana Water Works, and the Water Resources Authority, including John Lekuton, Simon N Nganga, and Teobald Mukundi Wambugu.
Jonah K Marindich was appointed as a Member of the National Cereals and Produce Board for three years by the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Mutahi Kagwe.
