  1. Michael Thoyah Kingi was appointed by the President as a Member of the Salaries and Remuneration Commission for a period of six years.
  2. Mohamed Sheikh Gabow was appointed as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenya Education Management Institute for three years.
  3. Beatrice Jefkorch Changwony was appointed as a member of the Kenya National Library Service Board for three years.
  4. Lucy Sophina R Loronyokie and Caroline K Karanja were appointed as Members of the Board of the Micro and Small Enterprises Authority for three years.
  5. The Mugie Conservancy Management Plan for 2025 to 2034 was officially published, outlining its vision, land use zones, and management programmes for ecological integrity, commercial sustainability, cultural impact, security, and operations.
  6. Elias Billy Nyonje, Simon Malonza, Rina Chatrath, and Nancy Manyara were appointed as Members of the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration for three years.
  7. The Trans Nzoia County Governor appointed Tulienge Anne Nangila as Chairperson and Andrew Wekesa Wepukhulu as Secretary, along with four other members, to the County Audit Committee for three years.
  8. The Judicial Service Commission published lists of applicants and shortlisted candidates for the positions of Judge of the Court of Appeal, Judge of the High Court, and Judge of the Environment and Land Court.
  9. Interviews for the shortlisted judicial candidates are scheduled to take place from 12th January 2026 to 23rd March 2026.
  10. Mary Ngechi Ngethe was struck off the Roll of Advocates by the Disciplinary Tribunal on 21st October 2025.
  11. Numerous notices were published regarding the issuance of provisional certificates, new certificates of lease, replacement titles, and reconstruction of lost land registers for various properties across the country.
  12. Notices were issued for the registration of legal instruments to transfer land ownership to beneficiaries, often where the original title deeds for the deceased owners were lost.
  13. The National Land Commission published notices regarding the acquisition of land for the dualling of the Nyali Bridge Mtwapa kwa Kadzengo Kilifi road, including deletions, corrections, and additions to the list of affected parcels.
  14. The Commission also announced dates for public inquiries to hear compensation claims for the affected landowners, to be held in January 2026.
  15. A corrigendum was issued for a parcel of land required for the Nairobi Naivasha SGR project, and an inquiry was scheduled for 20th January 2026 to hear compensation claims. See more HERE
