1. Peris Muthoni Kimani, Benjamin Juma Imai, and Prof. Collete A. Suda were appointed by President William Samoei Ruto as members of the National Police Service Commission for a term of six years, under Article 246 of the Constitution and the National Police Service Commission Act.
2. The Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Economic Planning, John Mbadi Ng’ongo, revoked the appointment of Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati as Chairperson of the Public Service Superannuation Fund Board of Trustees, effective 27th June, 2025.
3. Lucy Minayo Lugatia and Anthony Nzau Musau were appointed as members of the Complaints Commission under the Media Council Act for a three-year term starting 15th May, 2025, by Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo Gitau.
4. The Cabinet Secretary for Environment, Climate Change and Forestry, Deborah M. Barasa, published a Regulatory Impact Statement regarding the Draft Climate Change (Carbon Trading) and (Non-Market Approaches) Regulations, 2025, inviting public feedback within 28 days.
5. The Senate scheduled a special sitting on 30th June, 2025, to deliberate on the Mediation Committee’s report on the Division of Revenue Bill, 2025, and to hear charges against Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, Governor of Isiolo County, following an impeachment motion passed by the Isiolo County Assembly.
6. The Governor of Marsabit County, Mohamud M. Ali, appointed Godfrey Godana and Galm Guyo as Acting Chief Officers for Finance, and Revenue and Resource Mobilization, respectively, in the Department of Finance and Economic Planning, for a three-month term.
7. Vihiga Governor Dr. Wilber K. Ottichilo constituted an ad hoc committee to review Luanda Town’s application for municipal status. The seven-member committee includes Dr. Fredrick Omondi Owino, Flora Achiko Malanda, and Joel Odhiambo Akumu.
8. Busia Governor Paul Nyongesa Otuoma appointed Dr. Seth Harrison Wetoyi Adams as Chairperson, and five others, to the Busia County Rural and Urban Affordable Housing Committee for a three-year term starting 12th August, 2024.
9. The Governor of Busia County also made acting appointments of Peter Khasamule Odima as Acting CECM for Education and Industrial Skills Development, and John Muroki and Timothy Odhiambo Odende as Acting Chief Officers.
10. Paul Nyongesa Otuoma, Governor of Busia County, reassigned six County Executive Committee Members to new portfolios, including Topister Naiti Wanyama to Water and Environment, and Douglas Emmanuel Ejakait Okiring to the County Treasury.
11. Multiple provisional land title certificates were issued under the Land Registration Act across various counties, including to Electronics Technology Limited (L.R. No. 24095/60 in Nakuru), George Ngure Kariuki (two parcels in Athi River), and Patrick Kariuki Muriithi (in Thika).
12. Replacement and new land title deeds were issued in counties like Mombasa, Nairobi, Kiambu, Kakamega, Busia, Bungoma, and Machakos, for cases of lost or destroyed certificates. Notable names include Halima Said Omar (Mombasa/Ziwa la Ngombe/25), Demure Cloud Nine Ltd (Nairobi/Block 19/220), and Elijah Kariuki Kinyanjui (Dundori/Lanet Block 6/108).
13. Corrections were made to previous gazette notices, including petitioner name changes, such as from “Serah Muthoni Chenge” to “Sarah Muthoni Chege,” and amendments of reference numbers for accuracy.
