KENYA GAZETTE HIGHLIGHTS – FRIDAY, 9TH JULY 2021

  1. Chief Justice Martha Koome issues a new Fees Assessment Schedule to be henceforth applicable to filing of documents in all courts and tribunals.
  2. The Chief Justice Martha Koome gives notice that the Supreme Court recess will commence on Monday, 2nd August 2021 and terminate on Wednesday 15th September 2021.
  3. Joe Mucheru the Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communication, Technology, Innovation and Youth Affair extends the term of the Taskforce on the Development of the Data Protection (General) Regulations for a period of 3 months, with effect from the 7th July, 2021..
  4. John K. Munyes the Cabinet Secretary for Petroleum and Mining gives notice that the term of the Taskforce For The Development Of A Regulatory Framework For The Integration Of Salt Works has been extended for another ninety (90) days, with effect from the 16th June, 2021.
  5. KIHARA KARIUKI, the Attorney-General appoints Dorcas Oduor to be a member of the Kenya Law Reform Commission, for a period of five (5) years and revokes the appointment of Jacob Ondari. [ NB Dorcas Oduor is currently the secretary of Prosecutions with the ODPP]
  6. BOAZ O. OWITI Speaker, County Assembly of Migori gives notice that the County Assembly of Migori shall continue to hold its sittings at Maranatha for a period of one (1) week to pave way for the completion of the renovation of the Migori County Assembly Chambers at Migori.
  7. The County Government of Murang’a invites application for coffee licensees including Coffee nursery operators’ registration; Coffee pulping station license; Coffee milling license; Coffee warehousing license; Coffee roasting license and Coffee movement permit.
  8. The Assets Recovery Agency gives notice of issuance of preservation orders given by the High Court Anti-Corruption and Economic Crimes Division in respect of Esther Wagio Njunge and others (NB this is in relation to suspected corruption relating to the Procurement Manager Kenya Rural Roads Authority (KeRRA).
  9. The Registrar of Political Parties gives notice of the provisional registration of the following parties Vitendo na Sera Party (VSP), Kenya Democracy for Change (KDC) , Kenya Union Party (K UP), Pamoja African Alliance (PAA)
  10. The Registrar of Political Parties gives notice of the full registration of the Party for Peace Democracy (PPD) as a Political Party.
  11. The Registrar of Political Parties gives notice that for the Financial Year 2020/2021 Jubilee Party has received 353,856,423.40 and Orange Democratic Party (ODM) has received 165,252,076.60 in allocation.
  12. The Magistrate Courts at Embu, Garissa, Mwingi and Vihiga give notice of their intention to destroy court files for various years.
  13. The Kasarani and Mwiki Police Stations give notice to collect motor vehicles, motor cycles and scrap at their said yards within thirty (30) days failure to which Astorion Auctioneers shall proceed to sell them by public auction.
